Pitch Diameter Gages
FOR GEARS, SPLINES, ALSO SPHERICAL AND GROOVE DIAMETERS
Adjustable Gage with interchangeable measuring tips will check the following:
- Pitch diameter of splines and gears with even or uneven number of teeth, internal and external
- Concentricity of internal gears-pitch diameter to OD
- Concentricity of external gears-pitch diameter to ID
- Spherical diameters of ball races, internal and external
- Groove diameters, internal and external when used with #1900 series measuring tips
Carbide contact balls are available from .050" to .505" diameter in .0001" increments. Smaller and larger sizes available on special order at additional cost.
Standard inreach of #1400 tips is 1 1/4"
Special 3 3/4" inreach tips available. Supplied with .0005" dial indicator only.
Approximate weight of complete gage with tips is 22 oz
Range slide easily reversed for checking OD's.
