Diamond and CBN Grinding Wheels

Di-Coat designs and manufactures Diamond & CBN grinding wheels for all sorts of applications. Wheel sizes range from less than 1/4" to over 30" diameter and we offer a full spectrum of grit sizes in a variety of diamond or CBN types to suit your particular needs. The profiles can be simple or they can be highly complex.

CBN Micro-Milling Wheels

One customer reported saving 35 minutes per part by going to CBN Hi-Speed milling in ductile iron material.

Taking a final pass of .003 stock removal with a 5-1/2" diameter wheel at 6000 RPM, the customer no longer has to hand lap the part to obtain under .0002 flatness.

The CBN wheel achieved a surface finish under 15 RA right from the start and improved to a 12 RA after it started to wear in. The wheel paid for itself in under 2 weeks.
